Advocacy is at the heart of the Palm Beach County Medical Society’s mission. PBCMS works to ensure that physicians have a strong, unified voice at the local, state, and national levels — advancing policies that support medical practice, protect patients, and strengthen the overall healthcare system.

Through strategic partnerships, legislative engagement, and grassroots physician involvement, PBCMS champions issues that matter most to the medical community.

Our Advocacy Priorities 

PBCMS promotes initiatives that support:

     Protection of the patient-physician relationship and the ability to practice medicine without unnecessary interference.

     Policies that expand patient access, improve health outcomes, and strengthen public health.

     Reimbursement, insurance reform, and regulatory issues that impact practice sustainability.

  • Reducing Administrative Burden
     Streamlining regulations so physicians can spend more time with patients, not paperwork.

     Supporting mental health, prevention programs, and initiatives that strengthen the well-being of Palm Beach County.

MEDPAC is the bipartisan political action committee of the Palm Beach County Medical Society. Its mission is simple:

Support and elect pro-medicine candidates who advance physician- and patient-centered policies.

Contributions to MEDPAC help ensure that healthcare decisions are informed by those who understand medicine best — physicians.
